Occupational Safety and Health training in Malaysia

Introduction

The purpose of this Directive was the introduction of measures to encourage improvements in the safety and health of workers at workplace. It contains general principles concerning the prevention of occupational risks, i.e. prevention of unsafe working conditions.

Workplace accidents not only have potential catastrophic human dimension but they also have a financial impact. How much of cost will be incurred by your organization if accident happens? How much of it could you be prevented? "Prevention is better than cure"

In fact, prevention is still the best method against accidents at the workplace. However even the best preventive efforts sometimes fail and it is therefore prudent to prepare for such eventualities. It has been shown that proper initial handling of the accidents victims contributes significantly to the final outcome and often determines if a life could be saved

Occupational Safety & Health (OSH)

This training is more for Office Staffs to prevent accidents and work related Hazards and disease and to comply with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH Act 1994 Act 514) for workers in the office. It is important to create a comfortable working environment so that workers feel less exhausted and stressed in places where they have to spend long hours. To create a comfortable working environment is important, will enable workers to put their abilities to use more effectively and revitalize workplaces.

The office can be a healthy and comfortable place to work in if the correct combination of these element is maintained. In some of the larger offices, workers may experience some ill-health effect which may be due to the office environment (e.g. headaches, lethargy, eye, nose throat problems, stress and etc.) and require competent investigation.

  • Loss prevention & control Fundamental(Heinrich Theory)
  • Bomba Act 1988 ( Legal Compliance and application, Evacuation Procedures)
  • Fire Extinguisher types and application.
  • Office Safety and Compliance, Accidents and Self Responsivities.
  • Manual Handling Risk Factors Compliance.
  • Group study

Day 2

  • Agronomics how to change unsafe act to safe condition
  • First Aid Box and Contents ,
  • Ozone and Photo Copier Hazards.
  • Temperature, Humanity, Contaminated Air, Keyboard Equipment and Radiation.
  • Hazard Identification, Preventive accident and save life.
  • Q & A Certificate presentation.
